Clothesline® is the Canadian Diabetes Association's clothing and household item collection program. In 2005, the program diverted more than 40 million kilograms of clothing and household items from landfill sites across Canada.
Items accepted for collection include clothing, linens, dishes, toys, furniture
* as well as knick-knacks.
And now cell phones and PDAs can be donated to the Clothesline program! *Furniture pick-ups in select locations. Please call

Ontario the Canadian Diabetes Association is working with
Car Heaven. Vehicles donated through the Car Heaven program are environmentally recycled. Donors receive a free tow (valued at $200), and a tax receipt.

The Eco Rez I.M.P.A.C.T program offers an environmentally friendly recycling solution for a variety of empty toner cartridges and inkjets. Their program is based on purchasing empty toner and inkjet cartridges from your office printers, fax machines, hoping that they will not end up in our landfill sites. Eco Rez Inc. offers a free pick up service to anyone with empty cartridges which qualify for remanufacturing. As reimbursement for your empty cartridges, a cheque will be issued to yourself, company or any charity organization of your choice.
